Environmental Artists look to raise awareness of the dangers facing the planet and promote its conservation

About Me

Meg's Artistry is a unique combination of an environmental artist and art activist. Much of my work focuses on creating awareness about our natural environment through photography, painting, and more. My style ranges from realism, balanced minimalism, to hippie funky art and I am always looking for new ways to express myself. Meg's Artistry embodies my true identity as an artist, teacher, and member of society.

Now, most of my work has connections to these themes. My canvas paintings are created from repurposed canases left out for trash. While using up old paint is better than throwing it away, I have begun the process of making my own earth friendly paint too. Creating sheets of paper from community members' used paper is a new project I sought to conquer as well.

My love for all things art paved the way into my love for teaching others about art. I started as an elementary teacher in a traditional school setting and grew to getting hired by local libraries to teach art programs. From there, my classes grew to include specially curated ones for adults and teens as well. Today, I am available to book for a variety of art programs! Look under the Book Me tab for more information.

I strive to make a difference in our world through my art. Come explore my art and join me on my journey to make an impact.
