Clay Trinket Dish & Mosaic Embellishment Workshop (Adult Class)
Get creative with us as we use air-dry clay to sculpt charming mini trinket dishes—perfect for jewelry, keys, or any tiny treasures. You’ll pick your dish shape, check out fun examples for inspiration, and learn how to sculpt your dish and build a smooth raised lip around the edge. Add your own designs, then give your piece some sparkle using colorful glass and ceramic mosaic tiles. Time permitting, participants can also add a base coat of paint to their dish for an extra pop of personality. It’s a relaxed, playful workshop with plenty of room to experiment and make something uniquely yours.

Balloon Dog Drawings

In this class, young artists will learn how to draw a simple balloon dog by breaking the form into basic shapes. Students will practice tracing and cutting skills to create each section of the balloon dog before assembling their artwork. They will then be introduced to charcoal techniques, learning how to add shading and highlights to give their balloon dog a shiny, three-dimensional look.

In this imaginative mixed-media class, students will create a unique 3-D animal artwork. Participants will transform recycled egg cartons into the face of an animal of their choosing while learning basic sculpture techniques. They will then design their animal’s features, clothing, and background using paint and paint markers before mounting their creation onto a wooden plaque to complete a playful dimensional artwork. Flower Bouquet Art Class

Bloom & Brush – Watercolor Flower Bouquet Drawings: Join us for a fun and creative art class where young artists will design their very own flower bouquet! In this step-by-step class, children will learn how to draw various types of flowers and create a charming brown bag bouquet. They’ll have the freedom to choose which flowers to include and where to place them in their bouquet design. Once the drawing is complete, students will outline their work with Sharpie and use watercolor paints to bring their art to life. If time allows, they can also decorate the background to add their own personal touch.

Kids will step back in time to the American Revolution and learn about early American flags like the one associated with Betsy Ross. Young artists will design their own unique flag using colors, symbols, and patterns that represent freedom, community, and creativity. Students will use drawing and mixed-media materials to create a flag artwork inspired by the spirit of 1776.

Discover the timeless art of mosaics in this hands-on workshop where you’ll design and create your own custom tile coaster. We’ll begin with a simple guide sketch, then move into selecting from a variety of colorful glass mosaic tiles to build your design. Along the way, you’ll learn essential mosaic techniques, including layout, tile placement, and grouting. Lastly, you’ll transfer your design onto a ceramic tile and finish it with a clean layer of white grout. This class is perfect for adults looking to unwind creatively while crafting a functional, one-of-a-kind piece to take home.

In this mixed-media art class, students will close from a variety of classic wooden dinosaur shapes and design their dinosaur using paint. They will learn how to mix custom colors to decorate their figure and bring their dinosaur to life. Once the painting is complete, students will use clay to create a textured ground terrain that their dinosaur can be placed into so it stands upright for display.

Create a sparkling work of art in this fun and relaxing adult art workshop! Participants will choose from a variety of simple spring and summer–inspired designs, then learn how to transfer their selected image onto a canvas. Step-by-step instruction will guide you through the gem painting process, including how to place and secure colorful gemstones to bring your design to life. Each participant will customize their piece by selecting their own gem colors, and will leave with a finished, eye-catching artwork ready to display.

Clay Fossil Art Class

Students will begin this hands-on class by helping mix a simple salt dough clay mixture together. Once the clay is ready, they will flatten and shape their piece before choosing a dinosaur or nature figure to press into the clay to create a fossil impression. Students may also carve their own fossil designs using clay tools. The finished pieces will resemble real fossils and can be taken home to dry.
Gemstone Art Class

In this guided art class, students will learn step-by-step how to draw a gemstone by breaking the shape into simple forms. Participants will then explore tone, shading, and color while learning how light sources affect highlights and shadows. Using paint, students will bring their gemstone to life with vibrant color and realistic dimension.

In this colorful painting class, students will design their own crystal geode artwork. After drawing the outer rock shape and interior crystal formations, they will paint their geodes using watercolor techniques to blend vibrant mineral-inspired colors. A special sparkly texture element will be added to the crystals to give the finished artwork a shimmering geode effect.

Create a fun clay donut sculpture in this hands-on art class. Participants will learn how to construct a simple armature and shape their donut form using clay. Once the form is complete, students will paint their donut to resemble their favorite frosted treat.
